Public lobby
The normal experience is a shared map with up to 15 players. Kills there pay the 10 Gold. Informal teams happen, which is why Jun, Shinji, and Martial Legend have anti-team behavior. A dojo roof is reachable with Shinji's Nunchuck Flurry, and staying on it too long knocks you off.
Pro, Voice Chat, and VIP Only are additional server types from 23 March 2025. They do not replace the public map. Pro is the one that changes Gold.
A winter map was part of the 24 December 2024 update. Later pages do not say that the winter layout is the current year-round map, so treat it as that patch's map rather than a permanent world.
Duels
On 16 October 2026 the developer zale previewed a duels lobby: a circular stone platform, waterfalls, rocky terraces, and separate entrances marked 1v1 and 2v2, each with its own queue. That preview did not publish rank points, entry cost, or a ban list.
Use duels when you want a Martial Legend or Jun confirm without a third player. Use public servers when you want Gold, titles, and practice against overlapping strings. Virus Overlord's unfinished ultimate is easier to learn in a private server than in either queue.
What is not a mode
There is no documented story chapter, rebirth, or code-gated world. Progression is kills, Gold cosmetics, titles, and which character you are allowed to pick.
